I never liked tomatoes growing up, in fact, I hated them. They’re a sure-fire way of ruining anything you put them in. However, a few years ago I started to like them. I like the small sweat ones that transcend my personal definitions from Vegetable to Fruit. I can’t remember where I saw this tip.
Today I bought some for a nice Chorizo thinggimijiggy i’m going to make tonight, but I needed them to get marinading. Now, I don’t want to be some kind of putz who sits there cutting up 100 tomartos one at a time like a complete schmuck… so this is what I did.
Get some delicious sweat small Toms and two plates and a knife
Put a load of the Toms on a plate
Place another same-sized plate on top, and press down a bit
Get a knife and cut between the two plates using the bottom plate’s rim thinggy as a guide
You might not quite cut them all up right, but you’ll get most of them.
Now do awesomeness with them.
